Welcome to Mount Bethel United Methodist Church in historic “downtown” Bahama, North Carolina. We are a congregation that takes discipleship to Jesus seriously, gathering regularly for worship, fellowship, Bible study and missions to the community and world.
The apostle Paul advised young Timothy to “take hold of the life that really is life (I Timothy 6:19b).” The Mt. Bethel family lives together, seeking to embody the “life that really is life” under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and the love of God the Father.
Christ calls us to be reaching out to others as Christ has reached out for us.
